You are what you eat. Heard that a lot? Cliche?

No matter how you label it, it is so true. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

Ultimately, all the food you eat will be broken down into the nutrients that shape up your body; they’ll be the components of your cells and organs.

So think about it, do you want your heart to become that greasy doughnut you ate? Or your brain to be molded by that big Mac you had for lunch? Or your eyes to see through the cans of soda you carry around everywhere? Or your skin to be shaped by those chemical-loaded chocolate bars you consume multiple times through the day?

Getting addicted to fat and sugar is a serious illness. You lose clarity of mind and focus. You gain weight and lose self esteem.

And most importantly, your internal health is jeopardized! So many – if not all diseases – nowadays are a direct result of our faulty diets!

Diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and even some genetic diseases result from what you eat. Yet, they can also be cured by what you eat!

And please don’t say that you are going to die anyways so you might as well just enjoy the days you have now.

I bet enjoying your days doesn’t include lying on a hospital bed with tubes emerging from your body and monitor screens all around you.

That’s not part of your plan, right?

So, live accordingly. Integrate a well-balanced diet into your life.

If YOU don’t take care of yourself, hardly anyone would!

So, be mindful.

Don’t dig your grave with your own knife and fork!
